Buffalo-Style Soft Shell Crab Sandwich

When you’re a buffalo person, there is nothing you won’t dip in that delicious spicy sauce. We made the experimenting decision for you. Try it with a Soft Shell Crab. Get the sweet meat, the spice and the bang in one bite!

Sauce

  • 1 Bottle (12 oz.) – Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
  • 6 oz. Melted Butter
  • 6 oz. Buttermilk

Garnish

  • Ranch Dressing
  • Blue Cheese, Crumbled
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato

Deep Fried instructions

    • Mix buffalo sauce (Frank’s, melted butter, buttermilk)

    • Clean and deep-fry soft-shell crabs (following carton or Handy method)

    • Wash and slice lettuce and tomatoes

    • Crumble blue cheese

    • Have sandwich rolls and ranch dressing ready

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together Frank’s RedHot sauce, melted butter, and buttermilk until fully combined.

  2. Once the crabs are fried, place them in the buffalo sauce and toss gently to coat each crab evenly.

  3. Place each coated crab on a sandwich roll.

  4. Top with ranch dressing, lettuce, tomato, and blue cheese crumbles.

  5. Serve immediately.
