Handy Seafood Announces Promotion of Doug Santschi to President

SALISBURY, Md. — July 13, 2026 — Handy Seafood, a leading premium seafood processor and value-added innovator, today announced the promotion of Doug Santschi to President, effective immediately.

In his new role, Santschi will assume broader responsibility for day-to-day business leadership across key areas of the company, working closely with Handy’s leadership team to continue driving growth, operational excellence, customer service, and innovation.

Santschi most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer, where he played a key role in strengthening customer relationships, expanding market opportunities, and aligning commercial strategies across the organization.

Conway will continue as Chief Executive Officer, focusing on long-term strategy, key customer and industry relationships, business development opportunities, and overall corporate direction.
